1966年9月生于辽宁朝阳。中国科学院长春应用化学研究所研究员，博士生导师。1989年7月毕业于东北师范大学，获学士学位；1992年7月毕业于东北师范大学，获硕士学位；1999年7月毕业于中国科学院长春应用化学研究所，获博士学位。1992年7月-1996年8月在中国科学院长春应用化学研究所工作；1999-2003 年间于日本静冈大学和英国赫尔大学从事博士后研究工作；2003年被东北师范大学聘为教授、博士生导师；2006年被中国科学院长春应用化学研究所聘为研究员，现任“杂环化学”课题组长。主要从事有机化学及高分子材料化学方面研究。作为项目负责人先后承担了国家基金委项目5项，科技部国际合作专项2项，科工局配套项目1项，中国科学院项目2项，吉林省科技厅吉林省科技发展计划重大项目2项、招标专项1项。近年来发表学术论文170多篇，申请专利30余项，其中授权中国发明专利23项。专业方向为“有机化学”和“材料与化工”。2005年被吉林省政府授予优秀留学回国人员称号；2013年获吉林省自然科学奖二等奖；2015年获长春市第六批“有突出贡献专家”称号。
